Siraj Khan bagged the Gold Medal in Taekwondo at the 1st All India Police Judo Cluster Championship. He was felicitated at the Goa Police Head Quarters recently.

Panjim: Siraj Khan bagged the Gold Medal in Taekwondo at the 1st All India Police Judo Cluster Championship organised by West Bengal Police and Kolkata Police (Part Of Home Department WB) co-jointly organised the Sports Authority of India (SAI), Eastern Region, Salt Lake, Kolkata from 3rd January to 7thJanuary 2017.
It was a moment of pride for Goa Police and PC-501, Siraj Khan of 1st IRBn attached to Goa Police Sports Cell, who has been selected for World Police Games.
Siraj was the lone participant from Goa Police. He participated in the 80-87 kg weight category and won the Gold medal defeating Bhoopendar Gour of CRPF in the finals.

DGP Goa Dr. Muktesh Chander (IPS), IGP Goa Vivek Gogia (IPS), Karthik Kashyap IPS, Superintendent of Police Umesh Gaonkar (GPS), Anthony Monserrat Dy. Superintendent of Police and Amit Borkar Police Inspector Sports congratulated Siraj for his outstanding achievement.
